CEPA announce release of first draft of the CEN Standard for Pest Management Services
The CEN (European Committee for Standardisation) Standard for Pest Management Services is a voluntary industry initiative that specifies the requirements, recommendations and basic competences under which pest management servicing companies must operate to guarantee a professional service to their customers and ensure that the industry is recognized for responsibly protecting European citizens, animals and the environment in which they live against public health risks.
The public consultation on the first draft of the industry’s CEN Standard for Pest Management Services is now open until 4 December 2013. Contributions to the standard are invited by requesting a copy of the document and a comments sheet from National Standards Institutes.
To make a valid contribution, inputs need to be returned to the respective National Standards Institutes. Only then can it be taken into consideration for the development of the final version of the Standard, which is expected to be released in the Spring of 2014.
See the link below to access a list of the National Standards Institutes in the 28 European Member States together with their contact details.
