{"id":889,"date":"2013-08-01T13:23:48","date_gmt":"2013-08-01T12:23:48","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/international-pest-control.com\/wordpress\/?p=889"},"modified":"2015-02-01T19:14:18","modified_gmt":"2015-02-01T19:14:18","slug":"cepa-announce-release-of-first-draft-of-the-cen-standard-for-pest-management-services","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/international-pest-control.com\/wordpress\/cepa-announce-release-of-first-draft-of-the-cen-standard-for-pest-management-services\/","title":{"rendered":"CEPA announce release of first draft of the CEN Standard for Pest Management Services"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The CEN (European Committee for Standardisation) Standard for Pest Management Services is a voluntary industry initiative that specifies the requirements, recommendations and basic competences under which pest management servicing companies must operate to guarantee a professional service to their customers and ensure that the industry is recognized for responsibly protecting European citizens, animals and the environment in which they live against public health risks.<\/p>\n<p>The public consultation on the first draft of the industry\u2019s CEN Standard for Pest Management Services is now open until 4 December 2013. Contributions to the standard are invited by requesting a copy of the document and a comments sheet from National Standards Institutes.<\/p>\n<p>To make a valid contribution, inputs need to be returned to the respective National Standards Institutes.
